M.D. Mornington Peninsula, Victoria A while back I got into the habit of biting my thumb nails. It seemed a bit strange at the time as I had no desire to bite my other fingernails but I presume it developed from stress at work. Despite keeping a nail file handy and using nail polish I couldn’t seem to stop my habit. When Covid hit more stress resulted, as I would find myself chewing on my thumb nails without even realising it, despite wanting to keep my hands away from my face. To be honest I felt a little stupid when I approached Robyn for help, but her professional manner put me at ease instantly. She was able to help me recognise triggering thoughts and showed me a neat little way to put an instant stop to my anxiety. I did my session over zoom and the whole process was so quick! How do you propose to help me become happier, healthier and more fulfilled?
When changes are made using both your conscious and unconscious brain, the change is more likely to stick. You may have heard; change your mindset and you change your life. HOW do you change your mindset? Change your unconscious programming and you'll easily change your mindset. I use hypnosis and NLP to help you make those changes. What is unconscious programming? Your unconscious programs are the automatic behaviours you just do. Just like driving becomes automatic with practise, behaviours turn into habits. The more you do something, the more likely it is to become automatic. That's how munching on snacks in front of the TV becomes a habit or that glass of wine after a stressful day becomes several glasses of wine every day. Or just thinking about (include your fear here eg. spiders, speaking in public, snakes etc.) is really stressful so you do everything you can to avoid that fear. Change your automatic programs and you change your behaviours and habits.
